Expanding Our Products to High Heat Vinyl

Expanding Our Products to High Heat Vinyl

There's been a large amount of demand from our customers who use high heat finishes like Cerakote to make vinyl sticker stencils that have traditionally been popular on the market.

We're excited to announce that we're venturing into this new market, and bringing all of our existing designs to a vinyl format. After securing the appropriate material from a reputable US manufacturer, we'll be producing these in-house and offering them alongside our existing mylar stencils as an alternative option.

Value is the main focus of our expansion into this type of product, and we spent a lot of time considering what we could include to set us apart from competitors who offer the same style of product already.

Each order is expected include the following, all for the same price as a regular set:

  • 4x vinyl sheets of each individual pattern layer (almost identical to the original mylar stencils)
  • 2x sheets of transfer tape (one 12" x 9", another smaller one of a undetermined size)
  • 1x 3d printed applicator / squeegee tool
  • All the instructions, color recommendations, etc. as a normal order would

Performance from the material is also something we wanted to consider before venturing into this type of product. We decided on a material with the following specifications:

Physical Properties
Film: 3.2 mil calendared Vinyl
Liner: 80 lb. SCK
Adhesive: ultra-removable microsphere

Typical Performance Values
Minimum Application Temperature: + 50° F (Minimum for Substrate)
Service Temperature Range: -50° F to 225° F
Dimensional Stability: 0.1 in. (48 hrs. @ 150° F)
Adhesive Strength 180 Degree peel: 0.5 pounds/ inch width

Our production capacity for this product at the moment is severely limited, meaning we'll be having a gradual rollout of this product to you over time. This may mean high lead times or pre-orders once they release, so we're able to gauge interest and appropriate funds toward equipment necessary to produce these faster.

If you're interested in this product and would be willing to provide feedback regarding its use with high heat applications like Cerakote, please reach out to us via our contact page.

As we continue to work on this endeavor, we'll be providing announcements on our social media. We hope you're as excited as we are, and we look forward to your business and feedback regarding these soon.
